The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will reduce the trip time of the Dubai Metro Red Line from October 2012 by offering two services on a trial basis for a period of five months in a bid to better serve the interest of the Metro users such that they can arrive at their work places in a speedy and hassle-free way.
The number of signal junctions in Dubai has increased to 412 junctions, most of which are controlled by the Traffic Control System Centre of the RTA.
